Greetings from the World Assembly of Youth (WAY) headquarters!
We are pleased to inform you that the World Assembly of Youth (WAY) and HPV Global Action are joining forces in the fight against the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) pandemic. Amongst young people, HPV is the most contagious sexually transmitted infection (STI) due to the ease with which it can be contracted. Right now, 3 out of 4 people everywhere in the world will get one form or another of HPV in their lifetime. Sadly, HPV can also lead to 9 preventable HPV-related cancers.
Time to act is now! We need to educate ourselves on this virus, how it affects us all, and what we can all do to prevent ourselves by being affected by it. Thus, you are invited to our online webinar The HPV Pandemic: Why should I care? on 27 June 2022 @ 10.00 am (EST) where we explore HPV and what we can do about it. The World Assembly of Youth (WAY) and HPV Global Action support the World Health Organization (WHO) goals to be on the path to eliminating cervical cancer by the year 2030.
We are looking forward to receiving your registration and seeing you all there.
