The World Assembly of Youth has four types of membership: full, associate, observer, and consultative. Full members are national youth councils representing diverse youth organizations in a country and they possess full voting rights. Associate members are national youth organizations, federations, or associations that are interested in cooperating with WAY. Observer status is granted to national youth councils and organizations where a full member does not exist. Consultative status is offered to international and regional youth organizations with national youth councils as members. Learn more about our member organizations below.
